EVENTS

Besides our weekly classes on Friday, the Japan Fans regularly (co-)organise events. To this end, we collaborate with other organisations in line with our mission and vision.

Some of our activities over the past years? The Japanese Language Festival, the Haiku Encounter Day, various concerts/performances of Japanese music, various exhibitions (for example in the Utrecht city hall), workshops in origami, Japanese cooking&baking, kyudo and shodo, Japanese (inspired) artists’ meetups, a Japanese language cafe, a Kodomo no Hi event in Houten, cherry blossom walks, a mini Matsuri in Culemborg, a Japanese fairytale reading in the park… and much more!
